ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi! I’m Kala, a 28-year-old photographer who’s been capturing moments since 2018. What started as a spontaneous purchase quickly turned into a full-time passion, and I feel so lucky to be doing what I love every day! I’m completely self-taught, thanks to countless YouTube videos and lots of hands-on practice. I'm also a wife to my amazing (and super hot!) husband—we’ve been together since 2015 and married since 2021. We have two wild little boys and a baby girl!
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m busy running our little homestead, filled with horses, chickens, dogs, cats, etc. I’m an animal lover through and through. Outside of photography, I love vacationing, spending time with friends and family, and sneaking in a good book whenever I can.

MY "WHY" & INSPIRATION
I’ve always been drawn to the way photos can make you feel—how they capture emotion and bring memories rushing back. Growing up, I adored flipping through my parents’ photo albums, reliving moments and imagining the feelings tied to each one. Without photographs, those memories would just be fragments, but images allow us to truly reminisce and hold onto those special times.
Being behind the camera is where I feel most at home. This journey has introduced me to so many incredible people and given me the chance to create in ways I could never fully explain. Photography lets me express my creativity while capturing the beauty of life, love, and connection.
